What age for separate bath times?

My boys are 3 and 5. They take baths together, and I was wondering at what age should they be taking a bath alone? I have tried it once before, but they both freak out if I do it. The 3 year old is the worse of the two. Im afraid they may be getting to old for it now, especially the 5 yr old. And if I do it now, whats a good way to get them to want to do it?

Update:

I think its normal that they take a bath together also, someone said something to me about it, and it put the idea in my head that maybe they shouldnt be.

When they are ready they will let you know. It is so normal for them to have baths together as children. Don't let people put their own weird hang-ups on you.

I think you should wait a little longer. After a while the older one will probably ask to take a separate bath. or If one of them wants a shower and the other wants a bath you could let one take a shower and the other take a bath

    good luck :)

Oh I never thought about it. My 2 girls still bath together at 10 and 8.

They have never bothered and never suggested otherwise. Apart from occasions where one wants a bath and the other doesn't, they have always been happy to share.

They chat and catch up in the bath. Its cute.
