Should Days recast Philip now that Jay Kenneth Johnson has walked out?
As far as I am concerned he IS Philip and nobody can replace him. I wasn't too impressed with Kyle Brandt when he played him and I don't think I could accept anyone else. But I also think that Days needs Philip. I'm a huge fan of Victor's but he is too old to have any or the juicier storylines...Philip is truely his father's son. What would you like to see them do?

Oh WTH I don't want Jay to leave. He's one of the best actors on the show. He will & always be Phillip

I hadn't heard about Jay Kenneth Johnson has walked out. I would have seen that in the commong and Goings in the Soap opera digest mag I get weekly.
But I don't think there should be a new perso playing Philip. I think maybe make the character do what they did with Belle and Shawn.

I know what you mean. They always do replace them and you just get used to it until they either come back or are replaced again. It gets confusing. Maybe they should fake another plastic surgery, right? They can't just have him disappear unless they make that part of the mystery. Bummer.

i hate when a cast member leaves and is replaced then i have to get use to them as that charecter and it took me a while to get use to him
