You do dream, you just aren't remembering them. Each night the body goes through a few cycles of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep that is the dreaming state. I find as you get older you remember your dreams less. I've gone through long periods of not remembering my dreams either and had the same thought. But physically, your mind does dream while sleeping even if you don't remember. A trick you could try is having someone wake you up in the middle of the night and I bet you would remember some of what you were just dreaming.

you are still having dreams! The average person has a major dream every 90 minutes and that’s not including all the smaller dreams! Our dreams can be from 2 seconds to 20 minutes long. The reason you wouldn’t remember all of these dreams is the same thing that can cause you to have those awkward dreams when you feel as if you have already woken up.It’s all due to the cerebral cortex!
The cerebral cortex is a structure in your brain that plays a key role in memory, attention, awareness, thought, language, and consciousness.
hope it helps!!

Everybody dreams several times a night. Dreams are usually only remembered when they occur right before awakening. They occur during REM sleep, the 5th stage of sleep.
My explanation of this amnesia is that when children have "Dreams", their brains tend to retain more than adults. Once children hit a certain age, the brain matures and begins to retain important information only. Maybe this is why you used to remember your dreams and no longer do. There are psychology terms for this but I can't remember.

people have told me you always dream, but you don't always remember it but im not really sure. So i looked up dreams for you and basically scientists have been fighting over it forever and no one knows exactly why we dream. What I've noticed is when I dream its often about whatever i was thinking of before i fell asleep, except completely weirded out. so if nothing really stood out about your day, try watching a movie or reading something that makes you think at night or before you go to sleep. theres a pretty good chance youll end up dreaming about it.

You probably do have dreams and you don't even know it. Most people forget about their dreams within less than half an hour after they wake up. The only way to not have dreams is to have a protein deficiency or to be mentally ill. I doubt you have/are either of those. Next time you wake up write down your dreams right after you wake up if you want to remember your dreams.

It means you must be exhausted when you go to sleep! Sometimes when you have a lot going on, or end up being really tired, your body forgets to dream and you sleep harder than you normally would. :)

I think that you do dream but you just don't remember...Sometimes you can sleep so deeply that when you wake up you're like "it's already morning?". That happens to me so often, but I don't remember dreaming when that happens.
Are you very tired these days?

Are you sure you're alive hon? :)....just joking....all of us dream though whether we remember them or not. Maybe you're just so tired when you go to bed....you're sleeping so deeply you don't remember.

It could be that you aren't getting as restful quality of sleep as you where before.
