Do you think McCain supporters were as uninformed by the media as Obama supporters?
I just can't help but think that if you asked us the same questions that you wouldn't get the same results!

Obama supporters didn't know what Obama's issues were. The majority of them didn't know any of his politics, they just voted for him because of his image and because it was "cool".
I think most of them didn't watch the news. And if they did it was probably MSNBC or CNN. The liberal biased stations.

No I do not think McCain supporters were uninformed. But, with the democrats going after the college kids, poor folks, homeless, etc. and practically delivering them to the polls, I have to wonder how many did any homework on Obama. You can definitely tell from the video exactly what media they were watching and newspapers they were reading, if any. PBS, great supporter to Obama. What a farce!

No, McCain voters were more informed, but were less of them than there were for Obama.
News media was soundly in the tank for Obama.
Fox News was only fair and impartial news coverage of the election and its issues.

I saw this video earlier- now that's SAD! I think the Conservatives tend to watch both the main stream (Obama News Network) and Fox and do research. I can't imagine not knowing who Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid are- or Bill Ayers for that matter! But these people didn't have a clue! Amazing!

Not hardly, we did our homework. John McCain was a open book. He didn't hide anything. America elected a ghost, lets see how that works out for them. They know nothing about Obama, and they don't care. What a scary concept.

McCain supporters actually did research.
McCain supporters actually KNOW the answers to these questions.
McCain supporters actually acknowledged their dissatisfaction with him as a candidate.
McCain supporters admitted they were holding their noses to vote for McCain (a liberal in conservative disguise).

We were lied to by the media just as much - they don't "target" their lies to a specific audience, but to all of us. We just didn't buy the package.
And it was excellent packaging by the media:
They got a good percentage of the voting public to believe.....
Palin is a religious wacko because she believes the bible, whereas Obama's religious affiliation with Jeremiah Wright for 20 years is a "non-issue".
A senator who generally votes "present" is full of experience and an ex-mayor and current governor with an 80% approval rating has none.
The senator with the MOST liberal views in the country is capable of uniting the country behind him, but a senator who has experience "crossing the isle" even to the anger of his party cannot.
The current economic condition of the country, brought about by capitalism being moved too liberal (give loans to all people, regardless of credit history) requires a change - a move FARTHER to the left!
Yes, the marketing geniuses of the world should be applauding the United States media for their success at selling our country an inferior product.

I think their was an attempt by pro-McCain media to disinform the people in the same way, but the message didn't stick, especially because McCain didn't go along with it (I supported him, and I'm glad he took the high road, even if it cost him the election). I think in general though, more McCain supporters knew what goes on in government, they would be able to answer questions about government accurately, not to the extent to with which Obama supporters can't.
The problem has to do with popularity, Bush made the Republicans very unpopular, and Obama became very popular. Elections are popularity contests, nothing has changed since high school.

i say moreso. the media almost always put mccain in a negative light. obama was always put out there as a new beginning while mccain got the shaft as far as fair media reporting goes. and to the moron who said thet they read more than one book. i am sure i know more about the world than obama does, and he is well read, as am i. once again, more of the problem than a solution.

NO Mccain's knew everything Sarah and him ever did,,no one still don't know anything about obama, but i hear people are learning now lol
btw i've not watched a single news cast since the election.
