Baby Fell and busted mouth open?

my kids have done this more than once - give her an ice pop. It will help stop the bleeding. The Dr won't do anything. It heals pretty quickly on it's own.

as a mum and childcare worker i've seen it a hundred times over. The mouth always bleeds the worst! her gums will be purple and swollen and although the mouth is the worst for bleeding it is also the quickest to heal. it will heal itself but if it's causing her pain, give her some panadol and something cold to suck on like a cold teething ring or a cordial ice block. The only thing that may be affected in the long term is her teeth. it may have caused nerve damage to a tooth or two. my daugter hit her mouth on the side of my iron bed and her tooth turned gray. thankfully her adult tooth turned out just fine.

My 19 month old did this final week...cut up open his lip with a enamel. we've an issue now with him hiking on the laptop chairs...yet as quickly as we are interior a similar room we enable him as long as we are close. nicely my husband replaced into sitting appropriate beside him and he fell off the chair and cried demanding and loud! when I got here up from the basement they have been up interior the bathing room and my son replaced into sucking on a chilly textile to boot. It did no longer stay swollen long, basically a pair hours. i'd desire to o.k. of been mad at my husband for no longer catching him, yet I comprehend those issues are going to take place...

I am sure it will be fine, but it is a good thing to contact a doctor about it they will be able to tell you better. Babies are going to fall and get hurt, some major and some not. Good luck hope she feels better soon.

it will heal my son feel off his dump trunk and busted his when he was one.i took him to the er and the doc said to give it about 3 days to be ok.dont put any salt water on it though.it will be ok!!

Many many times! It will heal. As long as it looks like her teeth are ok, I would probably not worry about it.

Yes call the doctor then they will tell you about this hope this baby feel better!
