NO you cannot go direct from miami to cuba even as a british citizen.i done this trip last year .You have to fly miami to nassau / nassau to cuba then in reverse .it costs around £400 return and is easy to book with any online flight search .I would recommend you take at least 4 days as it is quite a long journey about 8 hrs each way due to plane changes ETC. also you have taxes to pay in the bahamas and cuba when you leave .YES it is worth it.

I have visited from the UK flying directly but you must obtain a visa before you go. You can certainly fly from Mexico or S.America. We used Havanatour based in Potters Bar in Hertfordshire.
