Should i leave my oven door open, or close it?

I've just cooked pizza in the oven. It's winter, and i'd like to make use of the heat to heat my house. Do i get more heat if i leave the oven door open, or if i keep it closed?

Update:

This is an easy question. The total amount of heat isn't the same.

Update 2:

I turn the oven off after the pizza is done...

If you want the heat now, then open the door fully. If you want it released slowly over a greater period, leave the door closed.

The heat of an oven has no where to go but into your kitchen, even when the door is closed. The only difference is opening it releases it all at once..closing it gives a lower amount for a longer period of time.

An oven is generally insulated, to prevent the heat from escaping when the hatch is closed... So I guess you should leave the door open to heat things up. Watch out for the electricity bills...

Not much effective by just opening. Sit closer to it.
