Any fans of the Consumer Driven Health Plans (CDHP)?

It is open enrollment at work and my employer is really pushing the CDHP's. We still have choices of the traditional plans but the premiums are going up and coverage percentage is going down. I'm kind of leaning towards the CDHP, with my health spending account and incentives given through my employer for preventive care, I should have no trouble meeting the $500 deductible if necessary. I'm just wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with a CDHP that they can share before I jump into uncharted waters.

We had looked at consumer driven plans for our open enrollment as well but found that it was too costly especially on the deductible. One reason is because of all the health issues that both my mom and I have. I think if it weren't for that we would consider the consumer driven plans.
