If you were a grasshopper, would that make a human your god? ?
This is a serious question.

If I could outjump anything smaller than a 12D, then the only thing that I would fear would be a 13EEE. Humans, Gods? Because I was a Grasshopper? Would you consider Mammoths to be your God if you were a Neanderthal? It's basically the same question!
Oh, wait your question is not whether the Grasshoper-human would consider the Human-human to be God, but whether that reality would make the human-humans the God of the Grasshopper-humans. Um, that would still be a Nope. Do you consider yourself to be the God of Grasshoppers?

No. A human might be the devil to a grasshopper, but not a god. A god is benevolent and helps the being. A god to a grasshopper might be a tree, or the ground on which the grass grows. Humans have a tendency to make a grasshopper's life unpleasant.

To start, what is a god? Well, most, we could probably say, consider the definition of a god to be the supreme being who creates and rules over the inhabitants of a universe.
So simply put, my god created me, not because he/she is incredulously larger than I am, but because he/she had the ability to do such. Just because we are titanic in size to the grasshopper, does not mean we have the knowledge or capability to create a form of life, i.e., a grasshopper.
The question could be reformed to ask, If you were a squirrel, would an elephant be your god? Well, no. Size doesn't make a god, though I'm sure it doesn't hurt!

No. Just another giant thing... God or gods have supernatural powers and communicate and interact with their devotees... Humans for the most part know what grasshoppers do and dont plan to empower the grass hopper kingdom in order to be worshipped...Grasshoppers also do not have the collective conscience to form a religion or belief system in order to worship humans as gods... I believe humans are the only speices on the planet that have that capacity.

no. God would still be my God no matter what form i take. humans might have a bigger impact on my life being that they are larger but even then not a god at all. what does a grasshopper care about us humans other than they probably wish that we would stop killing them and taking away their green spaces. if they think at all about such things. i am almost certain that a grasshopper is busy with surviving and doesn't have time to think about stuff like who is God and what is my purpose here on earth. the grasshopper knows. it is to be a grasshopper and to do what they do.

In all seriousness, it probably depends on where you lived as a grasshopper. if you lived at the neighborhood park and saw many humans every day, probably not. they would be just some big weird predator that sometimes squished your friends. you wouldn't sing around them because you wouldn't want to get squished too.
however, if you lived out in the country and had never seen a human before, your first experience might be a spiritual one. if this looming alien being with features you had never even imagined suddenly was towering over you after stepping out of a huge box that rolled around, you might feel amazement. if this human proceeded to crush your friend who was standing in awe right next to you, you would probably view it as the will of the gods rather than as the act of a predator.
interesting how predator and god can be the same thing interpreted differently. makes me wonder how we humans would view god from the point of view of the human versus our current viewpoint of the grasshopper.

The answer to that question is based on ones own personal perspective of who or what God really is. For example, people of a Christian or Catholic based religion would hold the view of an all powerful, all caring, omniscient immortal being. Humans, in that sense, would not fit that particular view, and hence, as powerful and dynamic as we are in comparison with the grasshopper, we are in essence not gods. Of course, being perspective that it is, yes, I do believe that we are gods to that of a grasshopper.
Personally, as radical as it sounds from traditional beliefs, I believe humans are the only gods in existence. We are the most intelligently endowed creatures, capable of creating or destructing vast structures with our bare hands, and having the ability to express a wide range of emotions and rationality through methods only exclusive to that of the human. Once again, it all comes down to ones own interpretation of the word "God."

if i were a grasshopper i wouldn't have a god because as far as we can tell they don't have any religions and they cant comprehend our existence we just some thing big to them its like trying to read some thing in a different language you can tell its text of some sort but you cant understand it it might be to complex for you we are complex for the grasshopper to understand so why would the worship us

No that would just make a human vastly larger than I am and it would have no effect on my Buddhist spirit at all. Or kung-Fu master ... whatever.
Seriously a grasshopper does not dwell on these things it's just and insect trying to stay away from the birds and a Chinese chef.

No, my God would still be God, if i possessed the intellect to be aware of such. Humans would be those big guys who try to kill us with lawnmowers.
