I'm not trying to be obnoxious, I really want to know. Would they just let them stay there, crawling around where they eat; and possibly where they sleep?

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI just quit smoking today?
Can anybody give me any ideas on how to deal with the tension that comes with the cravings? Also, what activities can fill the time that I would have spent smoking? Silly answers are just as welcome as serious ones. I'm grumpy and could use a good laugh.

Suppose you went to visit someone in their home for the first time and upon entering the living room, saw a live panther lounging on their sofa. What would your reaction be?

How much did these people eat while working on this book? How far did their supplies have to be shipped? How much time did they spend on the phone to publishers? I'm sure they bathed and washed their clothes during this time. How many plane trips will they take to promote this book?
Sorry for the rant. What are your thoughts on this?

15 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoR&S... Here's a scenario?
Suppose there's a woman (we'll call her Bertha) Her controlling ways and manipulation makes her husband's life miserable. She's looking at her husband's co-worker as a possible "plan B" if her husband leaves her. Everyone she knows avoids her because she loves to tell them how they should be living their lives. Every Friday and Saturday, she's at the bar looking for opportunities to commit adultery. Sunday mornings, she's at church with a pious expression on her face and Sunday afternoon, she's "witnessing" to people who know what she does when she's not at church.
Here's the question.... Is Bertha going to Heaven?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs there a group in Oklahoma City that rescues displaced birds of prey?
There's a falcon that has been hanging around my workplace. Falcons are not native to Oklahoma, so I'm not sure where he came from. This is also in the city, a fairly high traffic area. I think he keeps coming back to the courtyard because it's safer than the surrounding areas and there's a convenient food source. (He's been eating the sparrows)
3 AnswersBirds1 decade agoDo people really believe the conspiracy theories and "reptilian/nephilim" stories?
I was surfing Youtube the other day and found videos and postings that were scary in that if people believe them, it could very easily start a witch hunt just like the ones in the history books (Salem, Inquisition, etc)
I put this in the History section, mainly because if we forget History we're doomed to repeat it.
3 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoAre pecans safe for cats to eat?
There's a pecan tree in my front yard. The squirrels drop broken pecans on the ground. The neighbors cat has been coming over and eating the pecans. I'm getting a little concerned. The pecans won't hurt the cat, will they?

In most cases, waiters/waitresses and retail clerks want to provide good service, but they're met with hostility and challenge before they even have a chance to say "hello". Why?
