is this Church a raciest church?

would you Goto a church that has this as there History on there website?

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly White and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the White religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an White people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a White worship service and ministries which address the White Community.

Both Trinity and the WCC are, in my opinion, nowhere near the Christian ideal. How they call themselves churches when they openly espouse hatred and even target the Jews is beyond me. What do they think Christ was? He was not a WASP, and He was not black. He was a Jew all the way.

The "white" tradition is one of oppression and injustice. Any church who upheld these traditions would indeed be racist.

You think you are being very clever, but you're not.

You have no idea what it is like to be black in America. White males hold the power, even today, and white culture is considered the "norm." Don't pretend you know what blacks go through.

Expand your horizons. Make some black friends. Talk about sensitive issues, and LEARN. Put down your pride.

Or at the very least, Google "white privilege." Bet you don't even know it exists... You have some growing to do.

Is it a racist church??? Of course it is.

Would I go to it??? No.

Not only because they are racist, but because they are just dim-witted. How can they be white AND remain true to their native land... the cradle of civilization.

Do they not know the cradle of civilization is in the middle east, where those "towel heads" and "blacks" live? Or are they the type who believe Cleopatra was white too?

That's what I thought. You've simply replaced the word "black" with the word "white." It is their right to worship as they see fit. That is anyone's right. If that is what the believe and teach, then let them. When they deny others of the same right, then it becomes a problem, but this church (which Barack Obama attended with his wife) does not do that. It is part of the Baptist group of churches, which are variously, white, black, and socially-oriented for each congregation. There is nothing inherently racist or wrong with that.

well.. you could compare this to the BET channel.. if there were a WET ( White Entertainment Television ) channel people would fume.. but because of history, and such.. it's less so.. it's not like they don't welcome people who are of other races? Just predominantly black.. and i don't see what's wrong with that. It doesn't seem like they're racist.. maybe if they had chosen their words better. It could also be a possibility that the church is located in a predominantly black neighborhood

Yeah! Sounds like part of the racist "World church of the creator" or whatever its called. They had a man from Illinois who came to Bloomington Indiana to go on a killing spree. All of his victims where Asian (I think). I can't remember his name, but I know he killed a Korean man while he was outside of the church. This happend right near Indiana University campus. Yeah they mention the word "WHITE" way too much! Sounds like they could possibly be linked to WCC. But thats a guess.

Source(s): http://www.adl.org/backgrounders/wcotc.asp Above is a website about the origin of this hate group. and it is WCOTC not WCC. It is very disturbing! http://www.bloomington.in.us/~bu/history.htm And this is about the shooting in Bloomington Indiana.

The Church Obama attended clearly is. Mine is not. Churches like this one your demonstrating tend to want to hide being racist by calling it " Black Empowerment" Which is a bogus bunch of bull. All the Christian churches I have ever attended welcomed warmly all races of people.

Sounds like Rev Cleophus, dearly departed from Elections after it became apparent that a black man was going to win the presidency...in fact it sounds so much like him that he probably stole some of this stupidity.

So the program set up by the Catholics and Orthodox Christian Church in Africa, to build schools and give food is racist too.

In 2008, this is just sad. Not even Christian behavior.
