My cats do this everytime...?

Whenever the food gets too a certain point, they beg me for more. Even though the bowl is not empty. I have tried all sorts of things. But every time the bowl gets low, they beg me and take forever to finish the little bit left. Any ideas that could help me out?

Use a technique me and my boyfriend call 'the magic spoon'

Just pick up the half empty bowl and mix it up with the cat watching then put it back down. Works everytime for me lol

I know this sounds cruel but it will work ....whenever they ask for more food despite the fact some food is still in the bowl just ignore them ...when their hunger will reach the extreme point they will eat the last bit in the bowl ...2-3 times and they will make a habit of it !

Same thing here. I either get strict, wait until the bowl is empty or I find a treat to get her mind off the food. She never fails to let me know if that has satisfied her. How she can get the message across without a word of English, fascinates me. Cats, dogs, they are wonderful and smart!

There are some basic principles that apply to all forms of aggressive cat behaviour

Early intervention is best, before your cat's aggressive behavior becomes a habit.

Physical punishment, even a light tap on the nose, increases your cat's fear and anxiety. Some cats may even see it as a challenge, and become more aggressive.

My cat is the same. I usually keep his dish pretty full. He just got over a UTI infection and the vet recommended a dry food for that.

He won't eat it. If I mix it with the other food, he will spit it out.

Guess he knows who is really in charge here.

Maybe they just don´t want to see the bowl empty.
