What if my wife leaves the country with my son without my permission.?
What would I have to do to stop this, and if she happens to accutally pull it off what would happen. I think she's smart enough not to pull this but who knows I would like to know just in case. She's chinese with chinese citizenship my son was born here with full american citizenship. She does have a permanant resident card with the U.S. and has been here for 10 years. Just adding details to the question sorry, if you need anymore let me know.
Yeah he has a passport and my wife and I still legally married just kind of seperated right now not sure if she's just buying time to do her thing or if she wants a divorce. I had Dr. House's vicodin addiction that I just got treated for so she's pissed "understandably". I don't blame her for that. I'm clean now today is my 30th day clean, and I'm trying everything to reconcile with her but she has a huge wall up about it and doesnt even want to talk about it I figure I'll just give her time but I don't know if I'm just giving her time to think or time to run.
Plus I havent signed no legal consent form for her to leave with him. So I think that answer's my question.

I just saw a scary Dr Phil episode about the same situation that a man is going thru h_e_l_l trying to get his kid back from Brazil, so yeah she could take him and you might have a really hard time getting him back since she is a legal citizen of China.

She will be stopped at the airport and denied entry to the plane if she does not have a notarized legal document (Child Travel Consent form.) giving her permission to leave the country with a minor child

File for custody of your child now, 100%, stating that she's threatend to remove him from the country and you are in fear of this happening. Let the courts decide from there, what happens. I believe you can get an emergency custody hearing given the circumstances. Good luck!

does your son have a passport, that is crucial in this question.? If he already has one, it is going to be tricky, because she can sneak off at any time. If he doesn't and you are on his birth certificate, your signature is required to obtain one. In that case don't sign, so he will be unable to leave without a passport. This goes for any age, so even if he is an infant, he needs one.

if you do not have physical custody of your son that states that she cannot leave the country with him, then she can take him away. You can take her to court for this, you can go now and hire a lawyer and tell him that you need an immediate issuance of a temporary order stating that your filing for joint or sole custody and umtil the custody battle is ovr, she cannot take him out of the country, But you have to do it now because once he is out, she can keep him away as long as she wants.

IF SHE HAS A PASSPORT FOR YOUR SON SHE CAN PRETEND THAT SHE IS TAKING HIM ON A TRIP AND NEVER COME BACK. IT WOULD PROBABLY BE HARD TO FIND HER. THERE IS A LOT OF LEGAL THINGS SHE CAN DO. GO TO COURT BEST BET TO KEEP HER HERE.
