Office Christmas Gift Exchange - toys that remind us of them?
My office is quite large and for the season, we all drew names for gifts. Instead of buying 'real' gifts however, we are buying each other toys that we believe would have suited our co-worker when they were a child. We will then donate all the toys to the local toy drive.
It's a really great idea, and will likely be fun... however I am pretty stuck on what to get. The person I picked is a cantankerous shew. Any suggestions?
Sorry... shrew, not shew!

Well, considering that the toy will actually be given to a child I wouldn't go overboard with something cruel. For all we know that woman never had any kindness when she was a child and that's why she is so hateful now. Just think of the child.
Try giving her something that is designed for a child to love because that's probably what she needed most back then.

I would say if the person is pretty quite and reserved do a puzzle, or a book, maybe even legos - those things would be stuff a loner closed up type person would wear.
Regardless - kudos to your office, great idea! I might steal the idea next year!

if she is a real detailed person you can get some art supplies or a craft kit.
