7.35 carcano conversions?

im thinking of having a couple of carcanos converted from the 7.35 to 7.62x39 and 30-30. the should be fitted with a internal box mag and a new stock to hold the mag.the bolt handles need to be cut and re-welded for scope mounting and a good side mount scope base installed.dose anyone know a good gunsmith capable of all this? thanks

    Hmmmmm...... If I might make a suggestion.... Leave the Carcano rifles just as they are... If you want a bolt action rifle chambered in 7.62X39MM surely consider the CZ 527 Carbine.....

    you should get a hold of "Perry middleton" at "P.T's gun, sport and pawn in Lamar, CO."

    he can do all that, and give you a milkshake along with it. i've been using his service since i was 6 or 7 on my first .22, and he did a great job on it, along with a mod on my 12 gauge, barrel fluting on a 7mm, and many other guys i know use only him for their guns.

    give him a call.

    other than that, you could try bass pro shops' gunsmiths or just look up others in your local area. it's a fairly simple conversion, or just get a different gun in that caliber...
