My Computer keeps restarting itself?
My Computer has restarted itself while I'm in the middle of playing COD WaW or any other game, or just plain on the internet. Its not automatic updates either, and it just keeps restarting itself and its getting really annoying, anyone know the problem?
My RAM is 2GB and I got it about 3 months ago, its not old.
I have a 320GB HDD. I just put it in and I only have a few things on my computer.

I think its a virus activity.
try installing an anti-virus and update it, after that, make a full scan of your hard disk.
of course as mentioned above by other friends it could be because of your new installed RAM...

It may be a fatal error that is causing the computer to restart. You can easily stop the restart problem by changing your system
features to restrict automatic startup when your computer's having a problem. Here is how:
Use System Failure Settings to Stop Automatic Restarts.
1. Click Start and Open the Control Panel
2. Go to System and Maintenance, Click on System.
3. Select Advanced System Settings and choose Advance tab.
4. Under Startup and Recovery, click on Settings.
5. Under System failure uncheck Automatically restart.
Hope this helps!

There is definitely a virus in your computer. Run a full system virus scan. Use a good anti-virus like Norton or Kaparosky or just simply get a refund for your computer. If this doesn't work out then take it to a technician.

I think it could be virus too. There's this certain virus that kept restarting the computer. You could check your Anti virus or you cold also try to reformat your computer and see if the problem persist.

restarts while the computer is under load, is usually due to a poor PSU. especially if it's stock and is over a year old.
i suggest replacing it with something with a little more power.
