We're Romanian so we celebrate Christmas Eve more, instead of actual Christmas day. So usually before we open our gifts on Christmas eve around 9pm, we have our dinner.
Since we live in Australia now it's tradition to have a BBQ and we ALWAYS have to have grilled onions and pineapple, otherwise it just don't feel right :P
We have chicken, sausages, steak, salad, french fries, lol. Just a bunch of random stuff.

My mom usually always makes spiral ham and an assortment of vegetables/side dishes. And some sort of dessert.
This year, we're headed off to my uncle's - so I'm guessing we'll be having turkey.
Oh well. My family has a Christmas Eve tradition too, cool. :) We always eat a sort of 'platter' the night before like we did; pepperoni, kelbasa, shrimp, an assortment of veggies & dip, and chips.
Happy Christmas.

For Christmas Eve: Roast beef ( I had cheese and lentil though because I am vegetarian though), potatoes, yorkshire puddings, vegetables, sparkling grapejuice or wine
For Christmas Day: Turkey, potatoes, yorkshire puddings, veggies, same drinks and some cocktails, christmas pudding for dessert

On Christmas Day, we always invite my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins over and have a big Christmas dinner with honey glazed baked ham, scalloped potatoes, chicken/pineapple salad, garlic bread rolls, and green beans & asparagus.
For desert we have Christmas tree/Santa cookies, my Mom's cheesecake with red & green frosting decoration, and Aunt Bette's pink fruit-filled gelatin.
We serve egg nog, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and coffee to drink.
It's always a blast :)

Christmas is not a religious holiday of writer.
No special celebration, prayer, or preparations are scheduled.
I expect to sleep late and clean my house December 25.
Meatloaf leftovers or maybe I'll make some Mexican food.

Every Christmas we have beef wellington. Other than that we kind of switch it up every year with the sides.
