I'm looking for a homemade carpet shampoo for a steam cleaner. Any ideas or formulas?
I have a Bissell upright carpet shampooer, but funds are really tight right now and I can't afford a bottle of shampoo. Is there anything I can use, like vinegar, that I could put in the machine without damaging the carpet or the machine? My puppies are having accidents all over the house and I need to clean up. TIA!
I really appreciate your answering me, except that I live in the States. I've never heard of the product you mentioned. :( And not a clue how much 75p is. Wish I did, though! Take care!

I sometimes use stardrops - it's only about 75p and with a steam cleaner I only use a very low concentration or else it's too soapy.
