Has she been checked for ringworm? Mites? Even an indoor cat can get those, so you just might want to have that checked.
I've included a link that might help you identify the problem more.

Have you looked for flea dirt? Tiny black specks that show up in the fur on the brush when you brush her.
Cats with flea allergies can show allergic reactions even after one bite, it's really hard on them.
The shots are only a bandaid on the problem. Without treating the cause of the problem you can't clear up the trouble in the cat.
We use Advantage, it lasts a good 6 weeks where the others all last only four weeks. And it doesnt' burn their skin when you put it on. Revolution always burned them.

Is she desexed? Could be that she has been playing with a tom cat! Otherwise it could be miliary exczema. It will have to be diagnosed by a vet and is then treated with a hormonal tablet. The side effect of this tablet is that the have an increased hunger. She will eat a lot!
There are a few other possibilities. If you could get a pic it would make it a bit easier to give advice. You can email it to me if you like
Hope I can help
Mr Cool, Sounds like it could be miliary exczema if you are sure she doesnt have fleas. i would get an appt with your vet and discuss it with them. See if they agree.

Skin allergies probably. My cats get those too. The vet told me it is an allergic reaction to fleas. Funny, huh? But he gives them a shot in the back and within a week, their skin is smooth again, and they are much happier. Sounds like a trip to the vet is in order.

I've seen those on my cats too but it's because the bite each other all the time! It healed after a few days... If it doesn't heel or it keeps coming back, you should definitely see your vet...

Her skin is irritated by either ticks, fleas or some chemical that came in contact with her skin. She needs to see a vet. She's miserable.
