Wrong bra size? Boobs to big for "right sized bra"?
Ok, Im EXTREMLY confused. I've measured my under bust size to be a 31 - rounded up to 32. My bust size is a 36. Under the normal measuring way i would add 4 to the 32 to bring it to 36 (following me?) then that would give me a bra size of 36AA. This is WRONG as a 36AA literally doesnt even cover half of one of my beauties. Both me, my boyfriend (who says one of my best qualities is my boobs) and my agent *im a model* seriously doubt this as (not in an egotistical way) but i really do have a large bust - Much more than a handfull and my sisters & friends are always saying how jealous they are. I've looked for pictures of size 36 AA and (not in a horrible way) i do not have a flat chest atall. Out of fustration a day later i got my agent to measure me herself and she got my bust size as 36 aswell. Does this mean im somehow defying the normal measurements??? - How could it change?? I have modeling shoots comming up for a new job and i need to give them my bra size but i really dont know what to say to them... Am i measuring wrong? Do i need to stand a certian way like with shoulders back or something? Someone please help!
Insert name here - i tried the tips from the link you posted and from there my bra size came out as 36D! because it says NOT to add the extra inches to ure band size that other websites/calculators do. Im guessing this has to be right, which means EVERY other website i have checked and the common known way of measuring your bust is wrong.....this is all very confusing for us ladies lol

i think you should give them the measurements of the bras that you are currently wearing. i used to work at a store where part of my job was to measure ladies for bras. some people just don't measure correctly. i don't know why that happens but it does. so just find your most comfortable bra and give them the size of that one.
good luck with your shoot!

Isn't it the difference between the rib cage/body measurment and the boob (right round boobs) measurment in inches - ith one inch being a size up - so if body = 36 and boobs = 38 would be a B and so on - so 1 inch difference = A and 2 = B and 3 = C and 4 = D etc etc ??

The 36 is your back size isn't it?
The AA is your bust.
I suggest you go to a bra shop and get measured professionally, I mean I was wearing a 36 D and when i got measured I came out as a 34 FF...
Notice the difference?!
Get it done professionally, trust me.

M&S only measure you for their make of bra, all bra fit differently, I like M&S bra but the assistant measured me 2 cup sizes bigger, i tried on the bra and it was way too big put me in a dd bra and i am a c, scratched her head and had to agree the C fitted but so did the B.
Take a selection of different sizes in and try them all to get the best fit. Rigby and Peller stores measure you and they are supposed to be the best there is.Good luck with the photo shoot

You went wrong when you added 4. NEVER add anymore than 1 inch to your band size...it'll never turn out correctly. You're a 32D most likely. Granted you never know until you try it on but your measurements bring you to that size.

on god my child, actually you're never EVER supposed to add four if you round up to 32, and the bust was 36 each inch equals one cup, you would be a 32d :3

If you live in the UK i would suggest going to Marks & spencer they offer free (non-invasive) measurements, i was worried before i went but they fit you in a mature and quick way.
You could also try going into a shop and trying on a 36AA, A, B, C ect till you find the one that fits you right.

you need to measure your cup size, (round your nip nips!!!!) you have only measured your band size! try wearing a C or D, aa i would think of as training bras for 12 year olds!!
http://www.wikihow.com/Measure-Your-Bra-Size try here they will tell you
it must hun! im a 36 round the band and my cup size is a D!

don't use the breasttalk link - its rubbish - i just measured as an A cup - i currently wear a D cup and im spilling out of that!!!!
i have been professionally measured and would recommend it as the professionals show that the style of your bra effects your size as well as your measurements!

size should be right but the CUP is what you are getting wrong!
AA is very smal of course so go to a larger size and see what happens. If aa covers half then go to a C and try it.
