If you have a relationship with Christ is witchcraft okay?

Seeing as there's no real religion saying there's no rule against it. I'm pretty sure Jesus never said anything about hexing my ex-boss.

Update:

What's Paul got to do with it? Did he become Jesus?

Is Paul actually God in disguise?

And the laws of Moses are that old Jewish stuff. As I'm not Jewish, it would not apply to me any more then the laws of Greece.

No because as the christians often say - You cannot mix light and dark.

Christianity is evil and dark, Wicca is light and peace. You cannot mix the two.

1Sa 15:22 "And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams."

1Sa 15:23 " For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."

Witchcraft is most definitely a sin, according to Scripture. As someone who has dealt with witchcraft, I would strongly urge you not to do this - the fallout from it in your life would be horrific. Instead, I would encourage you to forgive your ex-boss, and ask God to deal with him/her. He can handle the situation much more effectively than you or anyone else can.

    You stated -

"And the laws of Moses are that old Jewish stuff. As I'm not Jewish, it would not apply to me any more then the laws of Greece." Oh but they do! Scripture states -

Mal 3:6 "For I, Jehovah, change not; therefore ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. " -and-

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and to-day, yea and for ever.

Old Testament or New, Jew or not, His laws apply to all people.. He does not change. Not my idea, His.

I will be praying for you - believing God to give you his Wisdom and Peace in this situation.

I am a Wiccan (Witch) and I can tell you that you will have a futile quest in looking for a Christian saying it is okay...

They will tell you that it is Satanic (which it isn't), deals with devils (which it doesn't) or is a sin (wrong again)... it is, however, a religion.

The Christian bible most definitely does say have the 10 Commandments... and witchcraft hits a few of those ultimate no-no's.

I think that you are not done with your spiritual journey and have yet to find your true faith and I hope that soon you do find the one that is right for you.

    Best of luck

There are many Christo-Pagans, who like yourself, believe in only what Jesus said and taught.

I don't see a conflict. I have a friend who is a pagan, but believes that Jesus is her patron God and calls him during all her rituals.

Well, Paul would have said not to do it if it doesn't glorify God.

Does witchcraft glorify God? I don't really know enough about witchcraft, but I don't think so.

Of course Diet Pepsi doesn't glorify God, but I practically live on it.

ChristoPaganism is fine, for those who choose it. One more solar "man-god, born of a virgin, slain and risen" archetype doesn't really change anything, from a Pagan perspective. But witches generally frown upon hexing people. Harm none, and do what you will.

There is Christo-Paganism, if you are serious. But most witches who practice witchcraft do not hex others in their practice, as they believe in threefold, which is that whatever negative energy is sent out will be returned to them. I would think if you genuinely believe in both Jesus Christ and witchcraft, hexing your ex-boss would go against both teachings.

There is one church where it is fine, It;s called Unity. Every city usually has one. No matter what your belief in the Divine , god , gods, or higher power it is accepted, although they do emphasis Jesus Christ .

Many Christians have practiced magick over the centuries. Ceremonial magick was developed by Christians. Look into it, in the ceremonies, you call upon God and Angels.

Also, most Vodou practitioners are Catholic.

NO, Jesus would not go against the Scriptures which say witchcraft is NOT okay.

    Galatians 5:19-21

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

It is obvious what kind of life develops out of trying to get your own way all the time: repetitive, loveless, cheap sex; a stinking accumulation of mental and emotional garbage; frenzied and joyless grabs for happiness; trinket gods; magic-show religion; paranoid loneliness; cutthroat competition; all-consuming-yet-never-satisfied wants; a brutal temper; an impotence to love or be loved; divided homes and divided lives; small-minded and lopsided pursuits; the vicious habit of depersonalizing everyone into a rival; uncontrolled and uncontrollable addictions; ugly parodies of community. I could go on.
