my kitten plays with his poo?
my 8 week old Russian blue mix is very friendly, affectionate, playful and healthy but for the past 2 days he has been kicking his turds out of the litter and then playing with them, i don't want to scold him near the litter box because he is very good with the box.
my wife is pretty freaked out about it, i told her he would grow out of it but.
do any of you have a similar experience? please help

Well... the sad truth is that cats like to play with their poo. Mine is ten years old and occasionally he will still play with his poop. Its small and easy to flick around. I've noticed that he plays with his poo a lot more when all of his little fur mice are locked up in the mouse prison camp under my bookshelf. I pull out the shelf and free the mice... and then he goes back to playing with them instead of his poo.
So... i would suggest getting your kitten some more toys. Mine loves the mice covered in real fur. You can find packs of them at Petsmart or any other pet store. The more little toys you kitten has to play with, the less appealing the poo will seem.
Good luck!
