Anne Rice's vampires chronicles?

I have read Interview with a Vampire. Anne Rice is a compelling author, but definitely a godless one. I felt a lack of hope in her novel that kept me from searching out the next book in the series with no regrets.

I have found John Saul to be the same.

btw- I like vampires, monsters, and such. Stephen King Dean Koontz and more.

Tv shows like Supernatural and the like.

The early ones are astonishing. The sequence gets much less good because it is going, and degenerates into soft porn around the time that Rice desperate she replaced into too remarkable to choose an editor.
