How can I unshrink a wool sweater?
Over time my favorite sweater has gotten a bit smaller. And no, I have not gained weight. I think I let it soak too long last time I hand washed it.

Stretch your wool sweater by soaking the garment in a tub of gentle hair conditioner and lukewarm water. Do not wring the sweater, but after draining the tub, press the sweater against the side of the basin to drain the excess water. Remove the garment and lay it flat on a very thick, very absorbent towel. Use another towel to blot away the excess water. Gently pull the sweater into the desired shape. Let the sweater air dry flat. Much like your hair, condition "untangles" the wool fibers.

So sorry, yet I even have under no circumstances had any fulfillment attempting to stretch a sweater, or pull it. that's throughout for the beautiful element. Shrinking of wool is a matting of the yarn fibers, and whilst they're disheveled it quite is impossible to un-mat them. it quite is like dreadlocks!!! If the sweater seems ok, supply it to a small buddy, and bit the bullet. you have found out a efficient lesson right here. journey is the final instructor!

Things You’ll Need:
nail polish remover
water, soap, and towel
cotton ball
Step1Once super glue has been found on the flesh, get nail polish remover and a cotton ball. Just like removing nail polish from nails, wet the cotton ball with the nail polish remover.
Step2Use cotton ball wet with nail polish remover directly on super glue stuck to flesh. Rub hard with the cotton ball until a satisfactory amount of glue has been removed.
Step3Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water to get the polish remover off. Dry well with towel.

Gently pull on the sweater in both directions while it is damp or being steamed. Just keep in mind that if you pull it wider it will get a little shorter and vice versa.

Some dry cleaners will "block" sweaters to re-size them. It takes steam to do it.
