How do you think the 2009 NASCAR season will play out?

-Jeff Gordon will start the season out with a win in the Bud Shootout with teammate Dale Earnhardt,Jr. winning the Daytona 500 with Gordon and Johnson pushing him.

-Dale Earnhardt.Jr. will win two races,make the Chase easily,and be a serious contender for the championship(top 5 at least)

-Mark Martin will win 1 or 2 races and easily qualify for the Chase,also being a serious contender

-Jeff Gordon will have a comeback season and will win 4 or 5 races,being one of the main contenders for the title

-Jimmie Johnson will expand on his previous season's learning of the COT and will win 10+ races and win his fourth consecutive championship(but not as easily as the last three-he will have Martin,Edwards,Gordon,and Junior to fight it out until the last race)

-Kyle Busch will have a good season,but nothing like the 2008 season.He will win 2 or 3 races and make the Chase.

-Juan-Pablo Montoya will take advantage of the Chevys and the ECR engines and win on his first oval(Talladega) and will qualify for his first Chase...barely.

-Joey Logano will shock the world and win at least 3 races,including the All-Star race after winning the open).He will become rookie of the year,make the Chase,and finish in the top 10.

-Carl Edwards will continue his success from 2008 and win a few races,make the Chase,and be one of the more serious contenders.

I think the rising costs will be a big story in 2009.

I do think David Ragan will make the chase.

Once the chase begins, we all know what will happen.

Hopefully someone can give Jimmie a run for his money..
