Most people that have been arrested over there have no charges other then being middle eastern and Muslim.

this is similar to the concentration camps established in WWII for Japanese Americans and was very wrong.

Why do you think that jail is in cuba? The answer is because they will not have to follow rules by the UN geneva convention.

So they are basically sticking a tube down the prisoners throats and feed them pork(Which they cannot eat) and keep them blind folded and restrained for the rest of the day.

you are able to desire to have observed as 911 and had this guy arrested for assaulting you. His strikes could have been video taped if there become no witnesses. it is no longer to any extent further Bush's duty to guard you from each guy or woman you have an argument with. he's no longer there with you. Once he becomes more educated on the situation at Guantanamo, it is doubtful he will move them somewhere else, much less let them go. So far he has made several promises/comments on things he would do different from Bush in the war on terror. Then he looks into it and finds out the best choice was already made and he sticks with it. He's a big time newb and this will be no different.

He isn't letting them "go". He has halted the trials at Camp Delta that's all. He will have to move those prisoners to mainstream jails if there is enough evidence to keep them encarcerated. If not,then he will have to get them repatriated or rehoused in AMERICA.

He has to start the REAL Peace process somewhere, and Guantanamo is a good place to start.

There ARE people in there on "suspicion" and that is not good enough. "suspicion" is no reason to keep people chained up like dogs.

If there is proof of someone being involved in Terror Activities, then hell yes, torture them to death. Otherwise, set them free.

The liberals will probably let them go and give them US passports ..plus apologise..

but i suspect he just might......i hope none of these people go on to commit more atrocities .....because he would then be to blame

i just hope none of them pitch up in britain ......as there has been some doubt about the innocence of the ones already returned to us .....

I hope I'm wrong about this guy, but I suspect that he plans to sell us out. I don't know how it's possible that he could be oblivious to the fact that terrorists are our enemies who will not be satisfied until we die.

He put a "hault" on it for further investigation. He didn't release them. He is closing the prison in Cuba to save YOUR TAX dollars and sending the prisoners to another prison to reduce government spending.

Please get your facts right before complaining.

How do you know they are terrorists?

Have they been convicted.?

Some of them were just defending their homeland against American invaders.

Hardly a terrorist - when they're on their own soil - defending their own soil.
