  • Where can I find the percentage of houses bought with FHA vs Cash?

I'm trying to find a statistics website that shows how many houses in any given US State, County, and Zipcode had home buyers which used FHA financing to purchase their home, how many used Cash, and how many used another form of funding. Does anybody know where I can get this data? I've tried all the major real estate websites like zillow, trulia, cyberhomes, etc....

  • how do you set a variable in VBA (excel) from a partial cell value?

Im trying to set a variable in VBA in excel by using just a part of a cell.

    The cell contains "Number: XXXXXX"

I need the number set as a variable without the "number:" part in the variable. I can set the entire cell as a variable, but not part of it. Any idea how to do this?

Why did the president stop trials on terrorists? Is he working with them? He obviously doesn't have America's safety as a concern.

  • Why is the President-elect Already going back on campaign promises?

So he's admitting that he lied about everything he promised.

He said he's taking troops out of the middle east during his campaign, now he saying he wants to send more?

And what is with this statement he made?

"Our challenge is going to be identifying what works and putting more money into that, eliminating things that don't work and making things that we have more efficient," Obama said on ABC. "I want to be realistic here. Not everything that we talked about during the campaign are we going to be able to do..."

  • How can I increase 4.5v to 5.5v?

I have a circuit with two leads that have 4.5v on them. Is there a way to bring that 4.5v up to 5.5v without to much trouble?

  • Using a transistor to switch a circuit on... how?

I have two sperate circuits I need to connect. Both have their own power source and I need to keep it that way. I have two leads that i need to switch power on where a SPST switch is located on the other circuit.

Simply, I have circuit A which needs to be turned on by circuit B, while keeping the power sources seperate.

Circuit B is a VOX switch that applies 4.5v to a remote lead. I need to take that 4.5v and use it to just complete a circuit on Circuit A without applying voltage.

Can I do this with a transistor? I have not been able to. Maybe I have the wrong transistor for this purpose?

I was thinking, use the 4.5v to switch the transistor which would complete the circuit for the switch on Circuit A. But it doesn't work when connected.

To make it very simple, two leads from one circuit need to complete a switch on another circuit without transferring the voltage... I'm just not thinking clearly of why it isnt working.

    http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/677/s...

Thats the circuit and the circuit I need to make for it using a relay.

I have relay 275-232 from radioshack. Its a 5v reed relay. But I only have 4.5v switching voltage, which wont turn the relay on. The relay is good, it works with 5.5v applied. But I cant get the 5v to the leads, i only have 4.5v there.

Let me know if you need the values for the circuit components, i didnt put them on.

  • My internet connection does not work completely, why?

I had a virus, specifically the TDss trojan. At first it just redirected links to go.google.com.

After running Spybot, ZoneAlarm, MalwareBites, Hijack This, SuperAntiSpyware, SDFix, ComboFix, and AVG, I finally got rid of it. (I think)

All of the programs were able to find parts of the virus, and I was able to delete the entire thing. I also did manual searches through the registry, and It is no longer there.

Also, It is no longer in the Hardware devices list.

Problem is now, the internet works for some programs, like instant messaging programs and games. But for the anti-virus/spyware update programs, it wont connect; as well as Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera. The browsers cant connect to any website.

I use NetStat when trying to connect with a browser to a website, and it looks like its trying to connect to my computer.

It says "Local Address:1900 Syn_Sent" and then I refresh the NetStat, and that entry is gone.

Firewalls are disabled, Running in both Safe mode and normal mode.

    Windows XP SP3, fully updated.

Hopefully that is enough info to find an answer. Thanks in advance

  • How do you recover data from a failed hard drive without giving it to a company?

I had a SATA hard drive fail, kind of. It is still being read, but windows xp cant access it. BIOS sees the drive, windows sees the partitions. But clicking on the drives in My Computer sometimes loads the folder/file list and then fails and sometimes says 'X: drive is not accessible.' The same result when trying it on a 2 different computers.

I need to get the data off the drive asap before the thing fails completely. However, I have personal information on the drive that I do not trust in the hands of a data recovery company. (Even though very illegal, Most of the employees copy the information for themselves and sell it off anyways)

So, how do these companies recover data from these failed drives?
