What is a daycare tax statement?

my kiddos daycare gave me statement with a tax id # and the money I paid for the year...how will this affect my taxes?

    You can claim what you paid on your taxes. It's called the Child and Dependant Care Credit. If you're eligible, you will receive some of what you paid to the daycare back in your refund.

    Oh it helps a great deal! Make sure they have included their EIN number on the statement. There are so many things people don't realize they can claim that really help reduce your tax burden.

    You can deduct child care expenses when you do your taxes.
