yes, it's a chatting "answer"...but personally I wouldn't really mind it. It may be a useless answer and may violate the rules but the person seems to be concerned and it is relevant (not just random spam). If everyone reported every one of those yahoo would probably crash.

She half answered by saying that the other person should find a song from themselves, especially just for the person in need, in other words a dedication. She didn't use the dedication but I think that's what she meant to imply. She didn't supply a song but an alternative. That's my take at least.

I'd leave it. She DID answer the question by saying it would be sweeter to find one from you. If you're ever debating whether or not its a vio, its probably best that you leave it.

As long as this question is posted in the right category, let's say "Friends", then this answer is OKAY. But if it's not, then it is considered as chatting, because the answer doesn't actually answer the question that is asked.
