My original question is rhetorical, but I was hoping someone here might put a more interesting spin on their answer.

"Why am I asking this question."
One Quatloo (worth 10 Kewpie points) shall be awarded to anyone who actually divines the correct answer. I know this is the philosophy section, but there is a correct answer.

Why doubt the yahoo bubble? It knows when you are confused, and is programmed to look for weakness. If you were not asking this question, something else would be happening. There is no correct answer to a rhetorical question, but it is just as wrong to question rhetoric.

because its a snowy february day and nothing much is doing and you feel like playing ? You are a pisces and undecided about what you want to do with your day so filling in time before inspiration kicks in.
Or you have early onset of alzheimers - do not worry your memory will come back soon. If you are female and over forty just open the window it will pass.
yahoo answers is technically trained to do that thing of helpfully checking that you arent asking one of the questions that has been asked a squillion times before in the last three minutes like those chicken and egg ones that do everybodys heads in

Why does anyone ask questions:
To learn, to grow, to explore and to develop a better understanding of their place in the universe.
Also to interact socially and intellectually with like minded people.
People enter into the metaphysical world as they can and many people cant. Therefore leaving reality and the humdrum naure of existence behind. Its like playing World of Warcraft without the game, if you get my drift..
So why ask a question?
