They believe in the old and the new testament, so they are Christian.

But I wish religion did not exist: we would have a peaceful world!

They truly think they are, but then again, magic underwear?? really???

Do mormons think they are the only true church?

Oh yes, but then so do Evangelicals, United, Baptist, Presbyterians, and on and on and on. Zealotry, from any one sect is still distasteful.

Now, to your original line, Mormons Vs. Christians, that would be something I'd watch on Pay Per View.

I'm a Mormon and we Believe in Christ. So yes, in that aspect we consider ourselves Christians. However most Christians believe that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are the same person with three different functions. that he is a being of spirit without parts and passions. If being an "official christian" means to believe in that then no we are not and we never want to be.

We believe the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost to be three distinct beings. We believe that the Father and the Son have glorified resurrected bodies of flesh and bone and the Spirit is of course a Spirit. We believe that they are three beings who are one in purpose.

Anyone (person or organized faith) that believes the Bible is the "true" word of god, and that Christ is savior, is Christian.....period.

So yes, Mormons are Christians.

Many (if not most) christian sects feel that their "specific interpretation" of the Bible is the "true" or correct interpretation, so again, nothing new there.

If anyone confesses Christ as Lord & Savior......and true conversion has happened...........they are saved.
