how long should a sprained ankle be swollen?
I sprained my ankle about a 12 days ago and it's still swollen. It's pretty stiff around my ankle but it doesn't hurt when I walk. I can even run without it hurting. the only time I feel that little pain is when I bend my foot back and in to stretch it. should the swelling be over with by now? thanks.

ok well you shouldn't be running on it that much give it about a week. it shouldn't be too swollen but it's normal for it to be still a little bit swollen. you went to the doctor right? he can tell you more about the swelling too, you should go to him anyway just to get it checked out.

it may take a while, i've sprained it twice in my life, once in bball, the other in hockey, it seems to be healing for you well, i'd give it 2 weeks, maybe 4 more weeks till its 100%

Yes it should be. You might want to get that looked at, in case something is actually broken or torn.
Good luck!
