Why do most women prefer driving barefoot?

I have noticed many women taking off their shoes before driving. What is the reason of it. Are they enjoying the feel of pedals under their bare soles or is it something else?

Mainly because Women today are wearing Loose Shoes(Sandals, Flip Flops, etc) with their Casual Wear, and when the time comes for them to "Dress Up", they would put on either Stilettos or High Heels. All of those shoes I have mentioned above could be very dangerous for a Woman to be driving with because any one of those Shoes could slip at a time when she needs to Hit The Brakes, and quite possibly she could wind up in a Hospital as a Victim of a Serious Accident. Seriously, there should be a Law passed on the length of High Heels which would be legal to drive because I find it risky to Operating A Motor Vehicle in 6 to 7 Inch High Heels. If One of those Heels were to break while driving, that could be as dangerous as taking your Eyes off the Road for a split second.

I live in California, and that is the extent of my knowledge of a Woman's Wardrobe of what I am seeing Women wear in this State. Please Ladies, if you have any rebuttals on I have mentioned pertaining to wardrobe, I would love to hear them.

A few things that turn men off: 1. Harping about politics. (If I hear another woman talk about women's rights, or animal rights I am going to vomit. And if I hear that classic tangent about how women have periods and babies, I will order a very expensive dinner, eat, and leave her there to pick up the check.) 2. expecting us to meet your parents. (Every woman has at least one psychotic parent.) 3. Talking about your sexual history, especially on the first date (or worse yet, comparing your date to past lovers.) 4. Expecting me to pay for EVERYTHING. (I'm broke, the economy is a terrible state, and somehow I'm expected to buy her things.) 5. Bad hygiene. If the floor of your car or house is covered in garbage, or has animal excrement, I will leave immediately. (Yes. some women really are that sloppy.) 6. Gossip is a very big red flag. Things I would like to see more of on a date: 1. manners: remembering to say "thanks for dinner" will earn you a lot of points. (Please don't get into a phone conversation with one of your friends while we're at the table of a restaurant [unless it's important], it's incredibly rude.) 2. Give feedback: Are you interested or not? Do you want to see me again, or not? (Are you interested in a relationship, or are you just using me for a free dinner? That's what men are wondering on every date.)

Cause we're usually wearing heels, and it's difficult to drive in heels.

I CAN drive in heels, but it feels a little awkward, perhaps unsafe. Think about it - when you drive you usually rest the heel of your foot on the floor and press with the ball of your foot. You are accustomed to the angles of car floor to foot to pedal. With heels on, your heel isn't touching the normal place so it's hard to judge intuitively how hard you're pressing the pedal, so to speak...barefoot I can "feel" the car and the pedal and the angle more accurately.

  • Long heels tends to hit the gas and break much harder than you would expect. Whenever I try to drive in heels, I tend to be much heavier on the gas...And otherwise...I don't know, I think we just get used to driving barefoot since we already have to do it half the time...
