What can you use your points for when you answer questions?

I am kinda new at this so could you tell me the basics on what to do with your points

    you don't use the points for anything except for asking questions.

    You can use them to ask question here (as you know) it costs 5 points and gain levels to left limits see more here http://answers.yahoo.com/info/scoring_system;_ylt=... about levels. But in the getting stuff like prizes that does not happen.

    they build up and u lvl up thats it.
