Is Meghan McCain spot on: Ann Coulter is 'offensive' and 'radical'?

McCain, who describes herself as a "progressive Republican," says she finds Coulter "offensive, radical, insulting, and confusing all at the same" and argues that she appeals to a wing of the party that is dying off.

"If figureheads like Ann Coulter are turning me off, then they are definitely turning off other members of my generation as well," says McCain, who is 24.

Meghan is comfortable with vanilla Republicans who stay of their place as history noise for the government/media /practise/wall highway liberal company. Her father's 2008 marketing campaign develop into an stunning occasion of this. For her to question an sensible, fearless female like Coulter is offensive, insulting and complicated.

That is a Big 10/4. I am as liberal as they come as a matter of fact I am a social lib far too the left of the political spectrum. And I can say this wholeheartedly as Republicans go John McCain and his family are the upper echelons of the party. He is as liberal as a Conservative can get and even though I did not vote for him. I had no doubt in my mind that although he harbored some rightist ideologies as well as war monging ones as well he is no Bush and has the best intention to serve the United States. For he is a true American and what Republicans should aspire to be rather than the backwards mentality they hold. Anne Coulter exemplifies this she is vile and piggish and has no decency whatsoever.

I have read all of Ann Coulters books and you know I realize she doesn't appeal to all. But she has every right to express her opinions however she feels fit to do it. She has sold millions upon millions of books so I honestly don't think she is as much of a minority as some would like to think. And you know the saying when your young (24) your a Democrat because you don't know any better, when your older your a republican because then you do know better.....Don't like it don't read it....Hey Lib's Baaaaaaa

Meghan voted for John Kerry in 2004. She only voted Repub. because of her Dad. So of course she'll bash Coulter. I can't imagine anyone wanting to "wrong" Coulter. She is so smart, it's scary. Meghan could have created a real mess here. Although, Ann will just laugh and ignore, I'm sure.

She's just mad because Coulter wants the party to return to it's (fiscally) conservative values and John McCain is a fiscally liberal Republican (which is kind of an oxymoron).

Meghan doesn't make sense because most people her age are liberal Democrats, NOT Republicans nor Conservative. I'm under 30 and she doesn't speak for all young people.

I also disagree with her assertion that many people are moving away from Conservatism, that's why they didn't elect the ubber liberal Republican John McCain.

OOHHH, watch the Liberals all pat a so-called Republican on the back (or in Bill Clinton's case, the front).

Guess Ann was a little to hard on the semi-hottie's daddy. So, when she bashes a miscreant on your side, are you going to give her props too?

Meghan McCain is a nobody ! She can call herself whatever she wants, but a Republican she is NOT. Progressive she is NOT ! Libs have a hard time with Ann Coulter because she speaks the truth and she is just plain blunt about it. She pulls no punches and calls it like she sees it. It's typical for libs to attack her when she says things they know are true . Truth has been the enemy of liberalism for centuries .and EVERY liberal society has been a failure in the eternity of history. Some people are just too dumb to learn from others mistakes, like Obama for instance.

Ann Coulter is offensive and radical. That's her schtick! She does that on purpose. That's how she sells so many books and gets herself on TV so much.

Her positions aren't that bad, in fact I agree with a great many of them. It's how she presents them that is offensive and radical.

As a radical (extreme left) myself, I take exception to hearing reactionaries (the extreme right) called "radical."

Yes, she's right. How about if Megan Mccain heads the GOP...seems she's the only one with some sense...
