Secession scares the left?

When Capitalists and the majority of Laissez-faire American's whisper of secession why does the Socialist/Leftist supporter deny that its a possibility? Does the idea of a splitting America scare them due to a lack of willing tax payers to agree to their terms? Or do you believe it is due to a "sit back and take it" attitude?

Update:

When I speak of secession I am in no possible way speaking of the ridiculous confederacy. I am speaking of states that feel that a socialist agenda threatens the constitution and that which the founding fathers stood for.

Fairweather patriots have a diverse customary of habit reckoning on which social gathering the president belongs to. If the President is a Republican, they'll stand via him as he mails out entitlement verify after entitlement verify (I mean stimulus verify), bails out failing marketplace after failing marketplace, helps the U. S. to be attacked, sends the economic equipment right into a nostril dive, and so on, and so on... all and sundry who questions any of this might desire to assist the terrorists and have their very own patriotism puzzled. yet while the President is a Democrat, nicely then that's okay to commemorate Treason Month. Edit: Lorraine, are you fairly arguing that slavery might desire to be an actual in this united states of america? You easily do no longer see what's arguable approximately that? My God, what happened on your soul?

Secession scares me too. With most of the world hating our guts, we need to pull together, not split apart. I hope we can get our act together politically and accept our differences.

I deny it is a possibility because of the US Army, US Air Force, US Navy, to say nothing of the US Marines. What makes you think your little revolution could even get off the ground? Besides, 1% of the population does not a revolution make. You guys are not supported by the main stream conservatives.

    who is whispering?

    and why are they whispering?

why aren't they real men and stand up for what they say?

usually people who deal only in whispers have nothing of consequence to say... it's only childish rumor in innuendo..

but if I thought for a second it was real... of course I would be scared... because it would mean CIVIL WAR...

what fool isn't scared of a civil war?

People deny it because it's a stupid, crazy idea. Secession isn't going to happen, the South will not rise again.

yes. it does scare us. and we deny it because if you do secede you will be crushed by the Union. Just like the confederacy was. are you willing to die for that cause???

besides, seceding is just quitting on America and democracy. you wouldnt do that, would you??

What poor sports - picking up the ball and quitting the game.

But to be honest, as far as I'm concerned the south can f**k off.

Yeah, that would be a thriving nation - Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Funny stuff, man.
