A Sour Dough question?

I was recently given some sour dough starter with directions to feed it every five to ten days. It makes excellent bread and rolls.

My question is how often can I feed it?

I fed it on Thursday and made rolls, but now I'm almost out of bread.

Should I go ahead and feed it again and make bread or should I wait until Thursday to feed it again?

Update:

Thanks to you both.

Eagle I'm going to try freezing some starter just for giggles. I believe we discussed this matter in another question.

you can feed it again and keep it tin the fridge ,I found this link to help you out , you can also freeze it if you don't make bread for a while.

From what I understand about starters, you should feed them immediately when you use them and weekly otherwise. So I would think you could feed it now, let it sit overnight to work, make your rolls/bread and then either feed it again right away or wait until Thursday. Feeding it now and using the next day, it might not have quite the flavor you had before but it will still be good!

Doc, I'm pretty sure that one should not feed too much of that bread, 'Cause the doe once it hits your stomach it adheres to your stomach liner and developes a stomach ache and if that wasn't enough it takes a long time leaving your intestines and would blow you up with the quickness. Hope this would change your mind.
