For people who are getting their children gifts for their Easter basket.?

Here is what I got for them so far. I have an almost 2 year old step-daughter and a 15 month old son. I got them both bubbles, flip flops and sun glasses. I also got my step-daughter two tank tops. I'm still looking for something for my son. I'm probably going to get her some undies and a pair of shorts to finish it off and a little candy. For my son I will probably get some sort of toy I can't decide which yet and something for the bath or outside. We are sending my step-daughters stuff home with her this holiday because we are running out of space here. So what do you think? Thanks. What are your kids getting?

Update:

I also have bath crayons and chalk I'm giving my son. Of course he will be supervised.

    sounds good to me.

instead of an actual easter basket i am using a sand pail as my sons basket, and inside i am putting a shorts outfit, a pair of sandle/flip flops, bath squirter toy, and i will be getting some of his favorite Gerber Graduate snacks instead of candy since he will only be 17 1/2 months on easter, and doesnt need candy. maybe i ll get some for myself. lol!

you gave me an idea about the sun glasses. ill have to get a pair since it goes with sort of the beach theme of his "basket". we are going to hawaii in may, so i thought a beachy theme for easter would be perfect.

and im still planning on getting a small bottle of bubbles and a pack of thoes crayola crayons that are made for toddlers.

    happy easter!

For my 8 year old stepson, we are getting him a "kids" digital camera. He likes taking pictures all the time, so we thought it would be a good thing. Also, 25 dollars, if something truly happens to it then we aren't out much money and a cute little outfit for Easter. My near 4 month old son, we just got him an outfit, that's all.

Nicely done. I got my son clothes for Easter but he's only 21 months so I am not counting them as gifts (hehe I get to shop more). I am doing a book, a coloring book, bubbles, one more toy but I haven't picked it out yet, and candy (one reese egg, one fun size snickers, chocolate cross -in lieu of a bunny, and jelly beans.)

I haven't thought much about Easter Baskets yet.

But I do have a son who is 17 months old. I also thought about bath toys. I did get him a rubber ducky for the bathtub so far.

So that might be an idea for you if your son doesn't already have one.

My kids are getting Easter eggs from the bunny.

For us gifts are for Christmas and birthdays.

For Easter the bunny leaves eggs.

I cannot believe how many people buy gifts for their kids. I guess different countries different traditions. I will stick to ours though I think. Easter bunny comes, we go to church, we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus and then home to eat chocolate
