I think it's too early in Ryan Braun's career to be comparing him to Albert Pujols. Pujols has been around since 2001 whereas Braun has just finished his first full season at the major-league level.

I'm not knocking Ryan Braun. He's a great hitter, but I'd have to go with Pujols.

Albert Pujols is the better overall player. He plays great defense (Which he had to work on.) He hits for average and power, something that is rare and doesn't strike out as much.

Braun does all of these things as well but Pujols does it better. One thing though, Pujols is far more injury prone than Braun is. If Braun didn't slump in September Braun would have been MVP instead of Pujols.

  • Albert Pujols

  • Albert Pujols hits for a better average, hits more homers and has more experience. Braun is a good player, but Pujols is top 5 best player in the league.

Really cant compare the two field wise because they play different positions. But batting wise is only possible way to know who is better. But with the numbers that Albert Pujols is putting up there. Albert Pujols wins by a big majority.

    -And go Cards.

Better at what. An all around player or a slow-footed out fielder?

Player would be Albert Pujols (A franchise player and future Hall of Fame member).

Slow footed outfielder would be Ryan Braun.

    Albert Pujols.

But I'm more of a Ryan Braun fan. He's my Jewish Brotha.
