Why don't people like Obama?

Some people act like they hate him and for what? He really is trying to put the pieces together and do his best. He came during a very hard time. Economics messed up, security messed up, foreign relations messed up and trust messed up. My whole family voted for him because he didn't sound like the same old same old. Sure things will be different, 8 years is along time to get used to something being done one way. What are people afraid of and why do people hate him?

Update:

I used the word hate here because I still run across forums that use that word. It is strong. I agree, but surfing even the YA's I have run across it.

    Why didn't people like George W. Bush? Some people acted like they hated him and for what? He really tried to put the pieces together and do his best. He had terrorists knock down two of the biggest buildings in the world which involved many businesses, he had one of the worst hurricane seasons in recorded history, Iraq acting like they had WMDs, terrorism all over the world, and all of this happening while California is burning to the ground. My whole family voted for him because he supported our values and he didn't sound like the same old same old. Sure things were different, 8 years is a long time to get used to something being done one way. What was everybody complaining about? HE WAS KEEPING US SAFE!!!!!!!

    This would take a very long time to answer. 1) He has printed off trillions of dollars. It is a known fact that more money in the system leads to inflation. The problem is that this money is not spread around and has been given to uber rich banks and small amounts to the auto industry. Therefore, we will be paying much, much more for groceries and neccessities in a couple of years. Many people are already struggling, so they will look to gov't for help. He is making the system, so that more of us are dependent on the gov't, which means higher taxes to support those people.

    2) When he forced his 887 billion dollar deal down our throats, noone read the 1100 page bill. Some people were given the bill at 10 pm and were expected to vote the next day. They had hardly any republican support, because we all know that this will create hyper inflation, but he passed it anyway--he is hated, because by the votes, nearly half of the country voted republican meaning he alienated us and lassoed us into this huge amount of debt for things we didn't believe in.

    3) He stated he was going to be bi-partisan and has not been even close to following what he said he would do.

    These are my major reasons, but I have many more---if that doesn't anger you, than you are a true blue liberal and nothing will change your mind.

    Hate is a strong word, my friend but honestly I do not hate him even though I could not bring myself to vote for him. People are not afraid of change but keep in mind all change is not good. I agree things were bad when he took office but he is really messing things up much worse than they were and he hasn't been in office but a little over 2 months now.

    Why don't you try and tell everyone what Obama has done to help Mr Average American? Because honestly I see nothing that he has "changed" from the Bush years. Enlighten us poor fools here!!

    Obama is not the President he is only Usurping the Presidency.

    Obama's father was Kenyan he was only here on a student visa and never became a U.S. citizen.

    Obama has a birthright to Kenya/Great Britain.

    Our Forefathers were very clear they did not want anyone with any kind of foreign allegiance to become President hence the natural born citizen clause.

    Obama is going to soon be very unpopular with mostly everyone when they see how very bad off they will be under Obama's socialist policies, not to mention dealing with enormous economic debt and high taxes.

    What liberals fail to realize is that you do not multiply wealth by dividing it.

    When one person receives without working, another person must work without receiving. That can never work.

    When half the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half believes it does no good to work because someone else will get what they have worked for, then that is the end of any nation.

    Because he is leading our country to become a Communinistic society. He and his followers are controlling the media to not show everything that he is doing in Washington. He speaks of this grand plan, yet he has none. He simply states "we need reform" yet has no idea on exactly how to resolve the issues. He's simply creating more!

    THE Defenders of KING "O" have their hands out waiting on a stimulus check, a welfare check, and a free doctor visit that the working American who ever is left will have to pay for. I love MY country that is why I'm inquisitive about policies not looks...some people people just love celebrities though

    "Change" also frightens the educated, perhaps even more so. Those who have studied totalitarian governments and their leaders and can draw parallels to the current direction of the country are rightly terrified. And the "timid" are those who take no time to express their displeasure, figuring they have already lost the battle.

    because americans are stupid

    and can not think beyond there personal pockets

    president obama is the best president they had in a long time

    he dose all the smart choices that in the Long run will improve the american way of life

    they can't think beyond the now, and look to the future

    they are self-centered, egotistical miserly fools

    I don't believe that people really hate him. I did not vote for him but it did mean I hated him. I just thought that the presidency was just too big a task for him. He was not prepared and he did not know what to do plus the fact he picked a bunch of lousy Cabinet and staff members.
