Anyone else really bummed-out about all these killings?

Seems like every day I turn on the news (or see it posted on the internet) there's yet another story about someone that took a gun and used it to murder inoccent people.

I mean, I know this stuff happens, but lately it's been mass killings. 4 police officers gunned down in CA, then 13 people killed in NY, now 3 more law enforcement officers killed in PA.

This last gun in PA is a total crackpot. His friends claim he was paranoid about the Obama administration taking his guns away. So, what does he do? He uses and AK-47 to shoot and kill 3 police officers that came to his home after his mother called 911 on him.

Now I know what it must have felt like to be a German-American during World War II. I am on the side of the good guys, but I have to ask myself, "Why are my own people doing this to others?"

I find it difficult to understand, also. If someone is so hopeless that they want to commit suicide, why do they go on a rampage to kill their own family, or go public and kill at random?

Who can understand the mind that snaps? Or like the uncle and nephew a few years ago that sniped for fun?

I love guns. My favorite is a special edition pearl handled snub nose that no one will ever make me give up. If I cannot protect myself as a responsible, registered firearm owner, then we have lost a very important Amer. freedom.

Knives, letter openers, baseball bats, clubs, poison darts, frying pans, sabres and guns do not kill people. Mine has never left the house without me to wreak havoc. It is people commiting crimes. Sorry, Master T, for the rant, but it felt good. Here, have a star. Daisy

yes it pisses me off... If someone had a gun, and the stones to stand up for their fellow man, it could have been stopped before 13 people were killed. In all of the situations. Cops need to get some heavier fire power, personally I'd be rolling with a HK G36 in my front of the car. The world is a crazy place anymore, there isn't going to be no answer to why.. The thing that disgusts me is they had a vigil for that piece of **** cop killer in Oakland, CA.. God damn sick.. cuz he was killed by them, the bastard can rot in hell.

Source(s): Guns don't kill people, people kill people. A gun is a tool and in the wrong hands, you have a problem. In the right hands it could make all the difference and save people.. Drunk drivers from a baseball game could kill someone, but they aren't trying to ban cars and driving to the game right?

    Yeah, I think it's totally messed-up.

I am from the Pittsburgh area myself and I have to tell you, about 98% of the police officers in Western PA are pro gun. This last idiot that killed 3 officers just shot and killed 3 defenders of the 2nd Amendment.

I hope the shooter in this case gets the benefit of a fair trial and good legal representation. Then, I hope they strap him to an electric chair and throw the switch.

at the same time as I applaud you attempting to think of out of the field and attempting to define issues, 3 or 4 "occurrences" are no longer a manner or indicative of a development. As an aside, we do comprehend that human beings have a stable tendency to work out types the place none exist and subsequently we would desire to be very rigorous in offering conclusions. Now granted, you have gotten pointed out a commonality in those 3 situations, yet although, it only could be a part consequence of different causal aspects.

Adolf Obama is on a mission to restrict your guns and take away your liberty. The murder of the Innocent with the weapons he wishes to restrict only adds fuel to the already out of control fire.

To all you gun owners that voted Adolf Obama in you've only got yourselves to blame.

It seems too coincidental, to say the least. Just a few weeks ago, several dozen Democrats in Congress signed a letter opposing new restrictions on gun ownership, and these killings started. Hmmm.

funny you should ask that! I woke up to watch the news and all that crap was on! You know I thought to myself if all these damn killing would just stop then Obama and Biden wouldn't have that power to justify why they are trying to make it impossible to buy ammo, reloading and guns. These people need to pull there heads out of there ***!!!!!!!!!

I agree with RDG...Seems a bit odd that when the Mudwhistles want to make some waves, this crap happens...I think there is more to it than meets the eye. (There were some pretty stinky stories about the Clinton admin after they left office also...hmmmm)

    I smell Bullsh!t.

yea it does get me down, but I realize that these people (the shooters) represent a very small portion of gun owners. If these people didn't have guns they would be building bombs, or running over people with their cars.I feel like the guns they used were not wrong, the persons actions were wrong.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people!
