So, dog owners in Seattle... I have a question!?

In Seattle, they might ban all the plastic bags from the grocery stores. Or they might make you pay 20 cents for a bag. Yet, they say that the plastic bags are the best to pick up after your dog. What would you do if they ban or you must pay for the plastic bags? I sure hope that the dog owners won't stop picking up after their dogs. What are you going to do?

Update:

They say that biodegradable bags don't work well for that matter, because it usually get squashed with other garbage. That's why they recommend to use regular plastic bag.

I'd just buy the plastic bags myself. It's not like they cost much or anything.

I personally don't use the grocery bags. I purchase the bags that come in a roll and attaches to my leash. I chose to use these because they are biodegradable. I never get the plastic grocery bags anyways, I use my own reusable bags.

Local parks also have a stand usually of bags for dog owners. There are some irresponsible dog owners that don't ever pick up after their dogs and 20 cent charge per bag or not, they will continue to do whatever they do and make the rest of us responsible dog owners look bad.

There are biodegradable bags available for dog poop pickup. Check at your local pet health food stores.
