Best way to Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park from western suburbs?

What is the best way to get from Philadelphia's western suburbs (King of Prussia area) to Citizens Bank Park for a night game? Is there a way to do it without spending a lot of time sitting in traffic? Is it better to travel from 6 to 7 and arrive just in time, or will traffic still be heavy then?

Thanks

There's no real good way but the way I go is down the expressway, pick up the Blue Route south at Conshohocken to 95 north. Follow the signs on 95 near the airport for 76 North, this will take you over the Platt Bridge and onto Penrose Avenue. Take the soft right onto Pattison Avenue, and pick a parking lot. I usually park at the one on the left hand side just before the Novacare facility.

No matter what time you go, if it is near rush hour, you will hit traffic. If you can swing it, I would go at like 4:00 or so, then eat at McFadden's. You could also eat at Chickie and Pete's on Packer Avenue - they will be charging for parking but they have a shuttle to the stadium.

Edit - I can't agree with taking the Broad Street exit - on paper it looks good but it is ALWAYS backed up. Taking the Platt Bridge to Penrose Avenue spares you that.

Edit #2 - if you take the R5, you need to get off at Suburban Station and truck on over to City Hall (you can get there without leaving the underground concourse) and take the Broad Street subway south. It stops at the stadium.

Drive down to Bryn Mawr and get on the SEPTA R5. In center city, get off at Suburban Station and get on the Broad St. Subway headed toward the sports complex.

However if you must drive, Schuylkill to Blue Route south to 95 north and exit at Broad St. However, this only works if the Blue Route is incident free. If it's having problems it's just as good to take the Schuylkill.

The SEPTA R5 is the best bet. Give yourself extra time, as a lot of other people are doing the same thing.
