What are your thoughts on abortion?
Maybe I'm shitstirring.
I think it can be necessary, and it is in no way up to the guy. But what are your thoughts?

I'm for it not because I believe in abortion but only because of how it was in the 60s when it was banned and women still went to back alley clinics and got abortions in unsanitary environments. I would hope people choose not to get abortion, but if I have to choose between losing two lives instead of one, I'll take the one.
As far as guys rights, well, obviously I'm a guy and I believe the guy should have something to say about it because it is his child after all. A lot of men out there don't have a voice and are willing to take the responsibility of raising a child by themselves if the woman doesn't want to be involved. But, the reality is, women's right trump men's rights any day because of the world we live in.

I think it's necessary sometimes, and that it's none of my business unless it's my uterus. I'm not judging someone for having abortions unless they're having repeated abortions due to unprotected sex- in which case, I'm mostly just annoyed that people put themselves at risk of diseases (and children) like that.
I think that if the guy is still involved with the girl then he should have a say in what happens and his opinion should be heard, but ultimately it is up to the woman because it's her body. It's wrong for a guy to just leave a pregnant girl, but it's also wrong for a girl to decide on an abortion without talking it through with her boyfriend if they're still together.

I think it depends on the act first.
Like if she was raped then without question I think that abortion is acceptable for many obvious reasons.
If two people are consenting to having sex and one of them is a minor and she gets pregnant, then abortion should be up to the parent of the minor child, not the child and of course not the father, because he should be in jail. If two consenting adults are having sex and she get pregnant, then I think this is not acceptable for abortion, I believe there is just way too many contraceptives available for preventing pregnancy now-a-days and very readily available to anyone and you can get them free at most health center.

I'm against abortion but my opinion is no one else's. They do as they please. I think if the kid is a big surprise then give birth to it give it up for adoption there are plenty of families out there that cant have babies.
No men should have no say in it unless they are going to take the baby and care for it for it's entire life! But I also think the mother and father of the baby should sit down and talk about what would be right for the baby.
But like I said my opinion is no one else's.

Personally I would never get one done because I would just feel too much remorse.
But just because it's something I wouldn't get done doesn't mean my decision should stop someone. Let a woman do what she feels like she should do with her body.

It's a choice. But the people involved with that choice should be prepared to deal with the consequences, whther they be religious, social, or personal consequences.

i am pro-life. even if you are raped i believe that you should have the baby because they are as much a victim as you are and there is always the option of abortion. people say "but what if she wants to keep it or can't give it up" then surely that is a good thing?

Women should be free to make that decision for themselves.
