1 AnswerSingles & Dating1 decade agoHow common are Micropsia and Alice in Wonderland Syndrome in children?
I think I had one of these syndromes or something similar when I was a child, usually induced by delirium fevers, but I'm not entirely sure, and I can't find any statistics on them. Does anyone know exactly how common they are, particularly in children?
3 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoWhat exactly does Pansexual mean?
My friend, who I thought was bi, told me the other day that he was pansexual, and I don't really know what he meant. I know it means attracted to "everything", but what does that cover?
5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoHow religious is your community?
I live in a total hippy community, and there's hardly any churches, almost no one's religious. My local church is run by two guys and isn't open on Sundays.

If you were dying of a heart attack, and a gay man gave you CPR to save your life?

Why do most fundies here have to hide their previous Q&As?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoLGBT: If you've seen it...?
Were you offended by the silence of the lambs? Just cos the villain was a really screwed up transgender guy, I heard there was a bit of an uproar in the LGBT community when it came out.
I thought he was really creepy, but I don't think it was intentionally homophobic.
7 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoJust another little survey?
What country are you from?
What is your religion (if you have one)?
What is your political view?
What are your views on gay marriage?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians, what would you do if...?
What would you do if God asked you to sacrifice your eternal soul for Him? If, to fulfill His divine plan, YOU had to go to Hell?
Would you still follow Him, even if there was nothing in it at all for you?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians and atheists, do you agree?
The existence of an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God, and the existence of post-modernity are two mutually exclusive concepts. If God exists, then we all still have grand narratives, so we would still live in a modernist universe.
If given the choice, who would choose modernity over post-modernity? Who? Even if you had faith in God, post-modernity is definitely the better option.
So why choose God, when you can choose post-modernity?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians, answer me this?
You claim that even if you do good then you can't get into heaven unless you're a Christian. An evil Christian does not go to hell, when a good atheist, or Muslim, or Jew, or Hindu does.
If this is true, then what is the point of the ten commandments, or the seven deadly sins? Why is there any sin other than "worshiping false idols"?
And also, can a gay Christian go to heaven?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoLGBT: How do you put up with people like these answerers?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkjX6...
I'm straight, and it makes me want to scream! How do gay people put up with this sshit?!
Maybe I was asking for it with the question, but these homophobes just get me so frustrated! And they didn't even answer the question!
9 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWhat logical reason is there for homosexuality being a sin?
Don't say its unnatural. Plastic is unnatural. If it happens without any interferance by humans then its natural. And don't just say "cos God said so". Why did he say so, exactly?
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoSo whats the most awkward situation you've been in recently?
Mine was today. I was waiting for the bus with the girl I like, and her boyfriend. They broke up TODAY, possibly on my account.
And the bus was forty minutes late.
4 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoHow can I say this without being offensive?
I was reading the wikipedia entry for "heterosexism" and it said something like "the assumption that heterosexuality is the norm and therefore superior". I was wondering why saying its the norm implies that its superior? If I said that I would just mean its more common, and homosexuality is a minority, I don't for a second believe that either is superior.
I'm straight by the way, but homophobic bigots makes me embarrassed for all who share my sexuality.
9 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoI thought heaven was for good people and hell was for bad people.?
So what does it matter what my faith is? If I'm a total a*shole but a Christian, then what right would I have to go to heaven? And what if I were an atheist who did nothing but good to others, gave to the poor, accepted everyone's faith and did not judge, would I really deserve to burn in hell for eternity? I think thats all a bit dumb. I know this has been asked before, but I haven't read the answers to those.
Thanks guys.

Am I just trying to get him to answer one of my questions?
Possibly.
1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoIs there anyone who says they don't discriminate against anyone?
Cos I do. I've always thought of myself as pretty liberal and left wing, but I do discriminate against right wing people (in particular racist and homophobic ones...they really piss me off) and pious Christians make me really f*cking angry. But Its not just the thought of Christianity - I like Christians who believe in the whole "God loves EVERYONE" thing, cos that is what religion is meant to be. Its mostly that lots of religions are simply a platform for people to discriminate, which is not what they should be. So I remain happily atheistic. Anyway, my point is that it would seem that I discriminate against, well, discriminatory people.
Maybe I'm a big hypocrite.
Thoughts?
5 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoWhat are your thoughts on abortion?
Maybe I'm shitstirring.
I think it can be necessary, and it is in no way up to the guy. But what are your thoughts?
9 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWhat are your thoughts on the Westboro Baptist Church?
Mine are bad. Bad, angry thoughts.
Fred Phelps is so deep in the closet he can see Narnia.
