She is doing it to herself. Maybe it was her way to remove herself from an abusive situation and it became an obsession.

E.W. Bullinger wrote a book two inches thick on numbers in the Bible. I couldn't begin to scratch the surface. 2 = confirmation 3 = complete 4 = the world 5 = grace 6 = man 7 = perfection 8 = new beginning 40 = a time of purifying The Greek Hebrew and Aramaic languages often use figures of speech instead of sentence structure, and numbers are used in many of those figures. That's about all that I have on the subject.

I knew this Medicine woman who was convinced that she would not die until she was 101 years old because during a near-death experience, that is what God told her: "101"...no year, no other reference...so she convinced herself that it meant the age that she would die.

She did not live to be 101. She died a couple years after I met her. She never did find out in this life what that cryptic number meant.

I do not believe that numbers mean anything.

Okay, now, here is the psychic answer I got on it:

It means she is trying to be a perfect teacher of the child she bore, for she is trying to be perfect in every way, to try to be a perfect parent, but she is feeling that she can't so when she sees this number sequence it reminds her of when she was small when she was being taught the arithmetic in school and she couldn't seem to get it, so she feels stupid, she is remembering this, and how her mother was so angry about her inability to do arithmetic that she beat her up whenever she didn't do it right. She needs to be more self-forgiving and self-loving to be a better teacher to you, to be a better parent. This will stop, as she discovers what the 1234 is trying to tell her, then she will stop seeing those numbers. Be as positive and loving to her as you can, forgive her her shortcomings, tell her she's a great mom, be forgiving with her, and this will help to heal her.

Ok, then I looked at the numbers from both a symbolic and numerology perspective. Adding these numbers up equals a total of 10. 10, in this case, represents not the standard numerology meaning, but a symbolic meaning, like if you were to give someone a rating of 1-10 with 10 being the highest and best rating. She wants to be the best at parenting and at everything, she wants to be a "10" and feels she isn't and can't. The 3 and 4 added together equal 7, and 7 represents, in this case, numerologically, teaching and learning, and also finding deeper life truths. She wants to be perfect at teaching and at learning but feels inadequate. The 12, I'm not sure what that has to do with. The only thing that comes to mind is there were 12 apostles in the Bible, and maybe she wants to be more spiritual and like them? I'm not sure. You may not know what numerology is, so if you want to know, I recommend reading a book called "The Romance In Your Name" by Juno Jordan, which gives a very spiritual and accurate numerology perspective, which she based on many years of extensive research. Newer numerology books are not accurate and I can't recommend any of them, other than maybe Dan Millman's book on numerology, I forget the name of it. Numerology is sort of like astrology, God's gift to us of symbology in our birth dates and names. Everything means something, everything in the universe is made up of numbers, of arithmetic, and it all means something. It is also now occurring to me that she might find some interest and help in reading that numerology book and that this ties in with trying to figure out what the numbers 1234 mean! It's all like God trying to tell her something through the numbers. When I saw your question, I felt drawn to it because I am a numerologist. But once I started into meditating on it, I came up with things that weren't about numerology but about your mom's problems and childhood history.
