Christians, why are you denying the existence of Odin?

Actually, I suspect that to get "a pass into Valhalla" it is probably also necessary to die in battle. Norse gods were just a little bit more demanding.

Odin has a plan for their lives... if only they would open their hearts to Him and listen.

No Chance Without Jesus: According to the Book or Norse, Odin is allowing Christians to believe in their version of God as a test of worthiness for residency in Valhalla. So far, no Christian has qualified. Why not be the first and admit Odin loves you?

I consider Odin to be another name for God, and considering that he hung on Yggdrasil for nine days before achieving enlightenment, he sounds rather similar to the God i believe in in any case. However, i think that the Asatru don't see things the way you describe their god because i'm pretty sure Odin is quite unconcerned about how much obesiance is paid to him.

I left my headphones on too loud and didn't hear the slightly mad, one eyed, wandering homeless man asking me for a smoke till he was yelling in my face that I should give him a smoke. I was a bit irritated at that point and told him to screw off without thinking.

I really hope Odin didn't send that man.

answering like a christian: odin is not well known. there is no one around that i know of who believes in odin. i have faith in the bible and that's the book for me -- and it's working.

christians won't buy into this . . . there is history w/christianity and plus loads of people are into it.
