What should we do at my small wedding?

We are probably going to have 40-50 people. I would like to have dancing, but I am not sure if there are enough people for that. Do you think that will work? If not what other activities do you think we could do? I want it to be at least somewhat formal, so no lawn games or volleyball like I seem to see suggested on other websites and in magazines.

We had around 50-60 people at our wedding/reception and we had it a local restaurant with a jazz band. People danced, but mostly they socialized, ate and drank. Don't worry about what people will do, they are there to see you and celebrate your union. At our rehearsal dinner, I was worried about conversation starters so I put little game cards at each table. 50 people is a pretty intimate setting so there might not be too many people who want to dance anyway. Congratulations!

40-50 people for a wedding with dancing is fine! Just think more room on the dance floor. Go with dancing.

my dad had his 50th b-day celebration a couple of years ago and there were only 50 people and you wouldn't believe how many people that really is when you start dancing!

you will have a blast just - get a dance floor that is 12x12 or something! It will be fun!

    Good luck and congrats!

If there is music, people will dance! You could also have a roaming slight-of-hand magician or a silhouette artist to entertain the guests in a classy fashion.

    Good luck!

Why not get a DJ. We're having 60 people and getting a DJ. Figure it will cater for all ages and music tastes and then you get the dancing too!
