why do i get negative points ...?

You lose points by asking questions, You can also lose points if your answers are in violation and someone reports them. Your questions also can be reported if they are against the community guidelines, so be careful what you post.

Remember asking questions here costs you five points. This is to heavily mitigate spamming, and at the same time, encourage participation from all users from within the Answers community.

However, there are other ways you can lose points:

1. -2 for self-deleting your answer

2.-10 for a violation in a question

3. -12 for a violation in an answer (-10 for violating the CG or TOS and -2 for the offending answer)

4. -10 for filing a false appeal-in addition to the aforementioned items

You lose point for:

i do not imagine there are stupid questions yet I do imagine there are some on right here who do say abusive issues to others and make feedback that are completely out of line. I purely document those to yahoo solutions and let them handle them,that is how they get a paycheck for doing their pastime purely as each and everybody attempt to do ours. i'm grateful for yahoo solutions because I even are growing distinct sturdy,informative coaching from right here,and in no way even had to ask the question.

yes it's normal, it happens to everyone, whenever you ask a question you lose 5 points.
