The irony (hypocrisy) of that is so true!

After smelling a flower, do you go eat a banana?

Sitting in a chair carved from the wood of a felled tree does not remove my respect for trees.

And one day, that wood will return to the earth.

Death is a necessity for life. What point is there in mourning and being ashamed of death when it is inevitable?

I did not fell the tree whose wood makes up the chair I'm sitting in, therefore I have no shame in it.

After shooting the deer standing by the tree I use the limbs that have fallen I clean the deer and cook the heart over the fire. God is good lets use things wisely. I love trees and the game I hunt I take care of both as we all should.

My God the hypocrisy! Nailed 'em!

Tree huggers aren't necessarily against all use of trees. They're against senseless destruction of the irreplaceable. Trees can be cut down sustainably. However, we often just mow down entire areas of forest which are lost forever because it's a little bit cheaper and faster.

I hugged a tree once. My mother had to sell the trees off of our land to pay for my grandfather's funeral. I loved those tress. It wasn't about the wood at all. True story.

Why is this an R & S question? It is funny though. Do they like leather shoes, and have leather wallets, purses, belts, and use make up made from animals and insects. Like to eat food, and make notes on paper, while wrapping gifts in paper. Hummm?

Why yes, I do, I also eat their poor little babies, you know pecans, walnuts, bananas, peaches, apples................

I respect and thank trees every day for providing shelter, food, shade and beauty to me.
